In the winter it’s very cold. The hoarfrost trees are very beautiful. They haven’t leaves. They shine on the sun.

In winter people dress warm clothes. We wear fur coat, warm cap and valenki (felt boots).

They play many games. They play snowballs and make snowmen. They stay at home if it is cold.

The winter is not the summer. In summer you play leapfrog or hide-and-seek. In winter you skate, ski and sledge. There are much snow in our country. Children make snowmen and play snowballs.

SUMMER

I like summer, because the days are longer and warmer and nights are shorter. And we don’t go to school! I have a lot of fun in summer. I can skip, swim, play tennis, tag. But I think all seasons are beautiful.

In summer people wear light clothes: cotton shirts, jeans, skirts, T-shirt and light shoes. Big shop are open

and some people go shopping. There are some things you can do on summer: go to the park, swim, go to the stadium. If the weather is fine there are a lot of people on the beach. In July and August you can have very good time.

I have breakfast at 7 o’clock. I’m a good eater. Usually I eat sandwich and “Russian tea”. I usually eat breakfast at home and have a lunch at school. My favorite food are pizza, fish, soup, juice and ice-cream.

I like fish but my Mum doesn’t like one. I have supper at 7 o’clock in the evening. Usually it’s tea with egg and sandwich.

I’m a good eater. For breakfast I like to eat apples and juice. For dinner – soup, coffee, for supper – ice-cream but my mother gives me porridge, soup and tea. My father likes to eat eggs for breakfast, fish soup for dinner and spaghetti for supper. He drinks coffee and milk. My Mom likes to eat apples for breakfast, soup with bread for dinner and jam for supper. She likes to drink coffee, juice and milk. My brother likes to eat meat, soup and hamburgers.
